2026 Native Plant Sale Fundraisers in Wisconsin

The native plant sale fundraiser offered by SOS Save Our Songbirds, Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance and Holy Wisdom Monastery and Johnson’s Nursery features online ordering from March 16-May 11 and pickup Sunday May 17 from a site in near-east Madison or at the monastery in Middleton.

Native plant sales sponsored by Wisconsin nonprofits are sprouting across Wisconsin. These sales are a way for organizations to raise funds for their work while also helping restore more native plants to Wisconsin to benefit birds and other wildlife. The number of such sales has doubled in a few short years, and the number of plant nurseries specializing in selling native plants has been growing too. DNR maintains a list of Wisconsin Native Plant Nurseries.
