Game rules

  1. Look for one or more of six migratory birds featured on Birds & Beans Coffee’s packaging and in the gallery below. Send the species’ name, date spotted, and location to seeabirdwi@gmail.com. Challenge open April 15-June 30.

  2. Continue to enter until you spot all six species if you want. Each player is eligible to 'win' once on a single species and if you get all six birds. All players, except winners, will be entered in a random drawing for coffee June 30.

  3. Single species winners in Wisconsin get a 12-ounce bag of Birds & Beans coffee of their choice. The 'all six birds' winner for Wisconsin gets a 2-pound bag. At the end of the promotion on June 30, all players across the country except winners are put into a blind draw and the winner gets a 2-pound bag of Birds & Beans.

  4. SOS Save Our Songbirds offers an added perk for Wisconsin entrants. We’ll conduct a random drawing from among entrants for each of the six species and for people reporting all 6 species. That’s 7 chances for prizes rewarding participation instead of being first.

  5. Cards like the one to the right are available at SOS events and from participating bird groups. No card is necessary to play or win but to help keep track of your sightings.
