Vote for the state’s “chonkiest” native bird in the Fat Bird Week contest! A fat bird is a healthy bird, and this online contest is a fun way to focus attention on what it takes to keep Wisconsin birds healthy!

From May 8 through May 15, vote daily online starting at 9 a.m. for one of two favorite chunky birds to see which advances to the next round and eventually, is crowned the winner. Enjoy tips on how to keep Wisconsin’s birds fat and healthy. The Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin and SOS co-sponsor the bracket style contest.

Round one of the contest is Friday, May 8, and we're starting off with a heavyweight matchup: Chungus Cardinal VS Massive Meadowlark.
